Description

Pair of refined candle holders with evocative porcelain subjects mounted on burnished and gilded bronze garden seats. The two "Erxian"brothers of Chinese origin but replicated in the Hirado factories in the 19th century hold candle holders in the form of plants with flowering branches. The bronze settings were most likely made in Europe.
