Italy, Late XX Century

Pair of five-flame candelabra in chased and chiselled silver. Decorations with repeated motifs on the base and arms with leaf volutes. Engraved silver marks under base, Milanese silversmith unidentified. Grams 2900.

Italy First Quarter 19th Century

Pair of cups in burnished bronze and yellow Siena marble, Italy, first quarter of the 19th century. Oval marble plinth base, embellished with shell and bead frets in the lower part and a pair of festoons made up of leaves, lake reeds and four valves arranged in a rosette, one of which is partially missing. Upper section of the base with a bronze plate to simulate marine ripples, from which rises a sculpture in the round depicting a two-tailed winged siren, characterized by a "crown" of algae and raised arms, the latter holding a large shell with a segmented placed on top. One of the bronzes that surround the plinth is partially missing.

Sterling silver oval tray. In the centre engraving depicting shoots with flowers and leaves, finely chiseled snake-like edge and handles. Marks of the silversmith, the silversmith and the dealer Joseph Mayer engraved on the reverse. 2516 grams.

Northern Italy, 1877

Steelyard scale in solid iron and bronze with a maximum capacity of 252 kilograms. Graduated rod with square section. It has wrought iron hooks in the shape of fantastic animals, shaped gilt bronze plates and a wrought iron and bronze weight. On the rod and on the weight there is a stamp and engraved brand of the artisan producer. Absence of chains. Coeval fir wooden case.

Europe, Mid XVII Century

Small wooden travel box covered with iron foil straps fixed with small studs. The metal bands are adorned with a decoration of vegetal racemes with flowers, made in embossed and burin. Between the metal plates the casket is covered in worked leather and features a Greek decoration and vegetal motifs. Interior covered in fabric.
